What does Halo feel like?

Modified on Thu, 25 Sep at 9:53 AM

When using the Halo headset, you may experience a mild tingling, itching, or stinging sensation under or near the electrode areas on your forehead. These sensations are common and generally well-tolerated by most users.

The intensity of the sensation may vary from person to person, but it is typically described as a slight "pins and needles" feeling, a gentle warmth, or a slight discomfort. You may feel a stronger sensation on the left forehead due to the direction of the electric current. Some users may not feel any sensation, but this does not indicate that Halo is not working.

Most users will adapt to any discomfort over time. If the sensations become painful or difficult to tolerate, you should stop the stimulation and consider trying again later that day or the next day. If the pain persists, you may want to consider stopping the stimulations altogether.

During or after the stimulation, you may notice some redness on your skin under or near the electrode sites. This is due to increased local blood flow and is a normal response. The redness should subside within about an hour after the stimulation ends.

Remember, everyone's experience with the Halo headset may be slightly different, but the sensations should generally be mild and tolerable and not painful.
